Ted Dykstra and Steve Mayoff have assembled an absolutely stellar cast of singers and musicians who perform on the Dorian CD. It starts with the legendary Paul Hoffert, who performs keyboards on several songs, and produced the 13 songs that were done in the studio. Paul was a founding member of the seminal band, Lighthouse, and in 1995 was inducted into the Canadian Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Paul is a true renaissance man, and is a writer, lecturer, futurist and university professor, in addition to still being active as a composer and musician.
The five key roles in Dorian were played by

- Terry Hatty (The Portrait)
Terry Hatty is the best-known of the group, serving for seven years as the lead singer in the internationally famous band, The Guess Who. After leaving the band several years ago, he switched careers and has become a popular actor in Canadian theatre. Tim Howar is an up-and-coming actor who has performed in a number of musicals. He is particularly well-known for playing Marius in a Canadian version of Les Miserables. He also played the title role in the Toronto production of the musical version of The Who's Tommy.
Damhnait Doyle (pronounced Dav-Nit), is on her way to musical stardom. Her most recent CD, Hyperdramtic, won her a Juno nomination, and four Canadian East Coast music awards, including Best Female Artist. Susan Henley and Lucy Peacock share the duties for Dorian's manager, Rhonda. Sue and Lucy are both well-known actresses in the Canadian theatre scene, while Frank Moore has played a wide variety of leading roles in various musical productions.
 Band Members, Chorus and Engineering
A number of hot musicians played on the Dorian CD. The guitar players were Kevin Breit, Tony Zorzi, Kurt Swinghammer and Dragoslav Tanaskovic. The bass players were Pat Kilbride and Russ Boswell. Ted Dykstra and Paul Hoffert played keyboards. Creighton Doane played drums and also played all instruments on The Cruelest Joke (reprise). Danny LeBlanc did the dub mix for The Vice Is Right.
The chorus in various productions consisted of Troy Adams, Shakura S'Aida, Melanie Doane, Arlene Duncan, Rique Franks, Jeff Jones, Jennifer Lyon, Linda Maruta, Elaine Overholt, Claire Rodger, Saida Baba Talibah, Cassandra Vasik, Rudy Webb and Peter Windrem.
The studio songs were recorded and mixed at McClear Pathe studios in Toronto by Jeff Wolpert.
